Oxford OptistatDry

Oxford OptistatDry BLV is a bottom-loading cryostat for spectroscopy consists of a compact cryostat with optical access, cooled by a closed-cycle refrigerator. This cryogen free cryostat is capable of cooling samples to under 5 K without the need for liquid cryogens. This provides significant benefits in terms of ease of use and running costs when compared to non-closed-cycle liquid He cryostats. This cryostat enables optical and electrical measurements.

  • 3 - 300 K temperature range with 0.1 K stability
  • No liquid cryogens required
  • Suitable for custom experiments and different spectroscopy techniques (PL, FTIR, PL(t), Raman)
  • Measurement-ready via 12-pin DC wiring to the sample space
  • Vibration: typical RMS displacement of 10 microns at the sample position
  • Room temperature to base temperature: < 3 hours
  • Typical cooling power: 0.2 W at 4.2 K
  • Optical access: 28 mm diameter clear view f/1
  • Dimensions (HxWxD): 900 x 240 x 290 mm³
  • Total cryostat weight: 23 kg

Sample dimensions (maximum): 28 x 35 mm²
